BBB of Eastern Carolinas' Torch Scholarships

BBB Torch Scholarships recognize students who personify high ethical standards as demonstrated through their leadership, community service, overall personal integrity, and academic history.

Torch Scholarships are given to college-bound high school seniors and college undergraduates who reside or attend school within BBB of Eastern Carolinas' 48-county service area.

Eligibility

Current college-bound high school seniors and college undergraduates who reside or attend school within BBB of Eastern Carolina's 48-county service area.

Video Entry Criteria
  • Submit a 30-90 second video giving insight into who you are. Professional quality videos are not expected and we encourage you to use your phone. Be thoughtful about your production and have fun with it.
  • These videos will be used at our awards presentation as a means of introducing scholarship winners. They might also be placed on BBB social media sites.
  • Additional information regarding the video submission process is available on the application. 
Deadline
  • Entries must be received by BBB prior to the deadline in order to be considered.
  • All entries become the property of BBB.

Winning entries

  • Judging of entries will be completed in as timely a manner as possible.
  • Scholarships will either be presented at an awards luncheon or during a virtual celebration.
